I am not aware of puja and worship happening at Shani Shingnapur temple.In the light of the
women's protest demanding equal right to conduct the puja rituals done by men visitor, i wish the temple authorities and protestors sit together and discuss the issues. Avoid vultures like pseudo feminists, self proclaimed liberals or sanathana sanstha culture protectors in the discussions. Allow them only if they are ready to talk contentious issues instead of their regular antics like ink pouring, shouting, thrashing etc.Women enjoy an important position in the society. Woman are sitting in Parliament, combat roles in army, doing surgeries in hospital, as astronauts in international space station. We have had strong women rulers like Jayalalitha, Margaret Thatcher, Indira Gandhi, Warriors like Rani Lakshmi Bhai . However the male dominated society would like to show their true colours at all possible instances and would like to restrict and dominate woman.Women were barred in gayatri upasana, right to yajnopaveeth (Sacred thread), Conducting Yajnas (religious rites), learning and teaching of vedas by the Clergy. This has to stop.Sane persons in the clergy should come forward to oppose such rotten tendencies in the society. The anacharas in hindu society (those who practise sanatana dharma) drive people out to the semitic religions fold where funded well oiled religious machinery is ready to take them all.
