Lenovo got envy on my new Sony Vaio

I have been using this Lenovo G series 3000 laptop for two years. It was solid and worked fine for me.No complaints so far.But as an entrepreneur doing business from home, i got to be careful.I should be ready for any adversity. So i planned to buy a new laptop.Like all other young businessmen, i wanted the best features and device for the money i am willing to pay.

I opted for a dell machine and planned to buy it from US and get it shipped by my cousin brother. My cousin brother is a Software Architect in US.He is a very busy man and yet he was very generous to shop one laptop for me from a BESTBUY Store.I told him that i don't like HP,Compaq,Acer etc.He gave me some choices and  i selected five models out of which one was a sony vaio and the rest were DELL.

Now my brother found Sony Vaio best among the lot having physically seen and used one.He was told by the salesman that Sony Vaio has got international warranty which obviously was found to be false when my brother read the cover after reaching home with the box.He bought it for 780 US$.It comes to around 35000 indian rupees..It was a bargain comparing the price in india.Ofcourse there is a risk that incase of any repairs, i may not get warranty services......but as a person who is not afraid to take risks....i am ok with that..

The machine looks awesome.Unlike the Lenovo i am using , this machine came with simple packing. It didn't have any software cds with it.The machine was windows 7 home preinstalled and with trial versions of microsoft office home and student version, trial antivirus software and  all. The display is excellent, build is good.Camera quality is good and having good card readers, a bluray drive, three usb ports etc.I am satisfied with this machine..

Youth Congress Membership

I have been enrolled to primary membership of youth congress. Some months back the party workers have enrolled me to membership to congress party too.Being a neutral guy, i find this kind of membership on paper amusing.

I still do not subscribe to party politics and support no party .................Local leaders add members so that they will vote in organisational elections on behalf of us.
