My Religion - Hindu in the records

As per government records my religion is hindu.I was born to hindu nair parents and they raised me up in that fashion.But i could not identify myself to the religion the hindus follow around me.They do all the wrong doing, drink, steal , cheat and then go to a temple and put some money in the box kept there.They offer some offering to the god and think that god is pleased.By the way they are offering the things to god in exchange of some favours, like more income from bribe for a person working in a Road Transport Office.I could not visualize god as a person offering material benefits inexchange of a bowl of gold coins, poojas etc..

I believe in god and i believe in the scriptures.But i do not believe the whole part of it.I imbibe what i feel comfortable for me.I can understand that Lanka was once a rich and prosperous country but i cannot understand that sun rotates the vindya mountain every day.I can understand that lord hanuman jumps over the sky to eat the sun god or bhagiradha praying and striving to bring mother ganga back to earth.But i cannot accept Lord Ram leaving Mother Sita in the dense forest since some rascal has told some rumours linking her stay at Lanka.

My hinduism is different.I can identify it with what Swami Vivekanandan's description of my religion.But cannot identify with the vulgar groups who paint Ohm in the public road disrespecting it.

Discouraging thoughts on a Positive Day

I do not like to write discouraging thoughts here.But since i have vowed to write honestly, i am typing my heart here.Ever since i left the world of PCB and circuit design, i began working about 15 to 18 hours online.Tremendous hours sitting in front of the computer had made me lose all the human feelings.At one point, i found that i am losing grip of my life.Recently i have made it sure not to work tremendously in the weekends.

This Friday and Saturday i needed to meet my lawyer for discussion about a litigation going on.Both days i worked for a couple of hours.Sunday i made it sure to holiday this time...

I was spending about 12000 Rupees in labour cost for maintaining planted rubber trees for this month.The workers were there and i thought i could holiday there and can do some work with the trees also.So i planned to do the painting on the trees.Painting is done on young trees to protect them from the scorching heat that is yet to come in March and April.

I couldn't photograph me.But i have took a photo of the tree i have painted.My painting skills were tested.Here's how i made the paint.

1. Clay Powder - You get from rubber stores.Bought 5 kg of it.

2. Maida which is refined wheat flour.You get from all stationary stores.Half a kilo.

3. Mix both with water and make it as a white paint.

And on 22nd February i worked painting on the trees not to save money on the labourers but to explore how it would feel.Six days i am working in front of my Lenovo notebook and i desperately needed some change.Other wise i could hire a person for Rs 300 (about 6 dollars) for a day and get it done.Anyway satisfaction was there.

And today the 23rd of February 2009, there is a festival happening at a Siva temple at my village.I could not go there because i was holidaying for the last three days.I started working for a couple of hours.Thanks to the electricity department who put the plug out in the village as a security measure when conducting the festival so that no one gets harmed.Sivarathri is a famous festival for the hindus.But i get sad when every one gets drunk in the auspicious day celeberating it.Is this the right way to celebrate?

So the generator that started at 10:30 is still running at 5:58 pm.And we had some guests.And today out the people i met, two persons again advised me to stop my online businesses and to get a job.Eventhough i hate to hear such advices, i did not showed any displeasure.

Why is the society trying to discourage young entreprenuers unless they show excellent talents?Why does the people always advice that we people from the middle class cannot dream to start a company or do business?I cannot convince people that this is my passion and that is the only reason why i am sticking to it rather than the monitory aspects.I have tried hard to convince them,but they keep asking me again and again.They do not understand that i have an individuality that likes to live adventurously.

Of the 200 people i meet in a month , 190 of them are there to discourage me.100 of them are not at all courteous.They attack me before they get an idea about what i do.50 of them says the same in a soft language.Fourty does not talk to me.They rate me as a loser.But since i do not care for the rating these creatures give me.I just keep walking.......

Let me say the truth......Even though i have been running this blog for a while,i haven't spend enought time for maintaining this blog.I was lazy whenever i get to blog for digital tyke.Yesterday i got a mail from a user who expressed similiar ideas.

Honestly i hated to share the personal details with the whole world who happen to visit these pages.What ever you write is evidence and people will always judge you with what you write.So it is about the resistance from a part of me stopping me from posting my details on this blog.I want to break free from that part in me and want to reach out to my users.So i am going to make some serious attempts.

The last time i wrote a personal post on this blog was when i was stressed out too
much.Thanks to god for making me delete that bcos it read something similiar to a suicide note.

I have always been an introvert since i recognise the world around me.I was born in a village in kerala named Nooranad.I still live there.But till today i couldn't blend myself to a nooranad typical malayali,I rate myself as one with 60% marks to be a nooranad malayali.I grew up in the same village but could not imbibe the culture of Kerala.I give my self 50% marks as a keralite.It is not that i am not able to apprehend the tradition and culture of my state.I speak good malayalam and follow all the good traditions, those i feel good.

What was that i wrote just now?I intentionally visualised this post would be a useless, information void text and it has been delivered.

India is a country of the poor.All policy decisions should be made considering the poorest of the poor in the country.The Rs 60,000 crore debt relief was helpful for my Uncle.He possess crores of Rupees worth land planted with Rubber trees that fetches him Rs 30,000 per month by selling rubber sheets.He took an agricultural loan pledging some gold loan and took Rs 50,000 from a village bank and he didn't pay any penny and his loan was written off and his gold was returned.But many people who sold their houses to pay off the debt incurred by cultivating paddy did not found themselves in the debt relief scheme.Their offence that they paid a part in time.

Every Indian is soon going to have a debt of Rs 30000.Here is my source.You will find all the numbers and about the financial stimulus schemes and duty cuts.How many indians can afford this debt?There is no india shining.India is what the movie Slumdog millionaire portrays.Our immediate priority should be to bridge the gap between rich and the poor.

The poor is not asking to give him luxury or to fit an air conditioner at his home.He is just asking to make food items affordable to him.He is just concerned about his livelihood than a war with pakistan, man landing on moon or whether sensex touches 21000 again or not.

The policies of the UPA Government didn't addressed to fight inflation.Ofcourse they did some money tightening steps and the recession resulted in decreasing the inflation index to a level less than five.

But the rulers should understand that people do not want you to feed them.They are asking you not to make life harder.

Note: i do not have the opinion that the nda government was better in this regard.

Jacob was returning after a grandeous party.He was so drunk that he could not walk correctly and he fell many a times and got up back.At the bank of the river, he saw some people queuing for baptisation.Jacob also joined the queue.The priest was shocked when he saw Jacob when his turn was ripe in the queue.

Father asked him whether he was ready for the ceremony and Jacob replied with a yes.Now the priest sank Jacob's head for five seconds and took it back and asked him whether he saw God.Jacob told that he saw only two fish in the water.

The gathering laughed silently.Reining the presence of mind, the priest sank the head again but this time kept it for 45 seconds.When jacob struggled, the head was taken back and he was asked the same question.

while wiping the water in the face and gasping for air, he replied,"Are you sure that god fell in the same river?".

A Senior Executive of an MNC visited the company canteen after heavy midday meals for the 

coffee even during the period of recession.He was sitting in the cafeteria and noticed the boy 

cleaning the table tops.The old man decieded that he should be the person to spend time for the break.

He asked the boy.

"What is your monthly salary?"

The boy replied with a smile.

What are your future plans?

The reply was silence.

Where would you see yourself after ten years?

The boy glanced him with an unfriendly look.

The man in suit continued his discourse.

"Do you know when i came to this town, i had no money?But today i have everything.

Name.......Fame............Money.............Power...........Esteem........"

What do you have ?As a poor canteen boy with no future dreams and expectations, you 

possess nothing?Tell me boy, what do you have?

The boy replied while walking towards the kitchen, "I got to go because i have some work  

pending."
